Starting a Rosary Making Guild

Why go it alone? Forming a guild makes rosaries add up quickly. Rosary making becomes more enjoyable, and the work and expenses are divided among various members.

Two or more rosary makers can form a rosary making guild. The most successful guilds have 10 or more members, but a group of two or three working together can soon grow.

Begin by organizing your guild:

•Select a President, Secretary, and Treasurer.

•The President contacts OLRM for ordering and distributes the materials.

•The Secretary writes the missionaries and submits a Quarterly Report to the OLRM Mission Network.

•The Treasurer manages the treasury and pays the annual $2 Membership Dues for each member.

•Start your rosary making fund.

•Have each new member contribute $2 for membership, or have someone else sponsor this person.

•At each meeting have a "rosary fund pot" for voluntary donations. A guild can raise money easier than the individual. Once word gets around that the guild sells special gift rosaries for First Communions, Weddings, Graduations, etc. you will have a steady income.

•Make mission rosaries and send them to the missions

•Find needful missions in our Mission Network section.

•Mail the rosaries to the missions - See our Mailing Instructions and sample Letter to Missionaries.

•Submit your Quarterly Report to the OLRM Mission Network.

•Invite others to join your guild.

Promote your guild with OLRM pamphlets and handouts.
