Dear Rosary Makers,

“…and I ask blessed Mary, ever virgin, all the angels and saints, and you, my brothers and sisters, to pray for me to the Lord our God.” As I was already in the throes of praying rather pointedly for a couple of souls before Mass, these words of the penitential rite struck me with their directness on this Saturday morning. Not only did these words strike me with their directness, they also struck in respect to the Rosary and to the work of Our Lady’s Rosary Makers.
Just as Scripture is the living word of God, the Rosary, too, should be viewed as ‘living’. Just as the words of the penitential rite came alive that morning, Scripture came alive as well, as often it does.
