The 5 Steps Of Being A Rosary Maker With OLRM

Step 1: Join OLRM

Joining OLRM is as simple as providing basic contact information. Most members contribute $2.00 per year to become members. To learn about becoming a contributing member for $2.00 per year click here. If you choose to not contribute with dues you can still be a part of OLRM by simply placing an order. A member number will be assigned to you with your first order. More information on ordering in STEP 2.

You may also want to think about joining a Rosary Making Guild in your area. If your area does not currently have a guild you can start one to help spread Our Lady's work in your diocese. To learn about OLRM Rosary Making Guilds click here.

Step 2: Order Parts

OLRM supplies its members with access to the most inexpensive rosary parts on the market. These rosary parts are classified as "Mission Parts" because the cost is subsidized to allow them to be made into rosaries to be given away to promote the message of Our Lady.

We suggest ordering the Cord Rosary Beginner's Kit. The CBK comes with instructions for making cord rosaries, a cord rosary making tool, and supplies to make 50 mission rosaries for $6.90, that's $0.14 per rosary. Information on ordering rosary parts can be found be clicking here.

Step 3: Make Rosaries

Once you have received your parts it's time to start your work for Our Lady. Making rosaries is a skilled craft and will eventually become second nature to you. When you first start remember "the 3 P's." Practice, Patience and Perseverance.

If you ordered a rosary making beginner's kit it will include printed instructions. You may also download printed instructions here.

Many people work better through visual instruction. Video instructions for making rosaries may be viewed by clicking here.

If you have questions, or get stuck you may find help in our Rosary Maker's Discussion Forum, or by contacting us at the International Center. You may also want to think about joining a Rosary Making Guild in your area, where you can receive personal instruction.

Step 4: Distribution

Now is the rewarding part - Giving Rosaries To The Needy!

Mission rosaries can br given away to a number of different groups; foreign missions, RCIA classes, hospitals, correctional facilities... There is need everywhere.

If you ordered a beginners kit you can follow the guide provided in your kit. You can view the Mission Rosary Distribution Guide online through our Mission Network by clicking here.

This sight provides all the information you need to give your rosaries away to foreign missions, hospitals, etc. You can also access our Rosary Request Database by clicking here.

If you are unable to find groups for your rosaries you can always return your finished rosaries to OLRM and we will distribute them on your behalf. Our postal address can be found by clicking here.

Step 5: ReorderNow that you are confident in your skills it's time to set new goals and begin work on your second set of rosaries. Simply place a second order for the parts that you need. Because you are no longer a beginner you will not need a beginner's kit, so order the parts individually and make as many or few rosaries as you're comfortable with. To see our full line of "Mission" Materials click here.

As your skills grow you may want to dive into making Wire and Chain rosaries. These rosaries are much stronger, and if made with quality parts, can last a lifetime! A Wire Rosary Beginner's Kit may be ordered by clicking here. Video and printable instructions for making wire rosaries can be found by clicking here.

Many of our members enjoy making fine quality rosaries as gifts for family and friends, or to sell at a profit in order to fund their mission activities. If you become a wire rosary maker we ask that you consider making your fine quality rosary part purchases from OLRM as the profits from these sales help to underwrite our operational costs, and allow us to provide "Mission" materials at such inexpensive rates.

You can find our extensive quality rosary parts catalog online by clicking here.

Thank you for this consideration., Welcome to your apostolate, and may God bless you all in your inspired work!
